If lingerie is all about personality, then it’s logical that when shopping you should keep in mind what you like to wear. What makes you comfortable? If you are the kind that likes cotton then stick with that, don’t buy a boatload of things you know just don’t fit with your personality.
Many women want to spice up their bedroom lives, so what about mixing things up. Sure, why not, go ahead and mix things up but remember the style and material you select should still resonate with you. There is a great range of lingerie items to select from and there will be something to fit your personality. Not into nightgowns, there are silky, cottony or flannel pajamas. Some may say cotton and flannel can’t be sexy, ignore them, these materials are sexy if you make the right choice.

Because of this, there is the impression that choosing one should not be tough. After all, if nobody gets to see it, then why bother making sure that it looks good on you. However, it is not only appearance or style that makes this valuable. In fact, the more important feature of this kind of garment is its comfort. If this is not comfortable at all, then it definitely does not serve its purpose. Any garment that is worn while sleeping should be comfortable. Otherwise, you would never be able to sleep well.
Just like outer garments, you should take into consideration always the season when buying this apparel for sleeping. If the weather is really cold or when it is winter, you should buy those that are quite thick. Unless your bedroom is well heated, you should not dare buy those very sexy negligees as you may only end up shivering in bed. Of course, if that happens, you may find it hard to sleep too, which again defeats the very purpose of a garment for sleeping, providing comfort while you are in bed.
